   DONATE

chicagoiands.png

Expenses continue even as we remain away from in-person meetings. Please make a donation to Chicago IANDS by mailing a check or by using your banking app to transfer funds.  All donations are tax-deductible.

I. MAIL

Please make check payable to: Chicago IANDS and mail donations to: Chicago IANDS, Wilmette Post Office, P.O. Box 732, Wilmette, IL 60091

II.  ONLINE TRANSFER

If you are able to do "online banking" using a web site or a phone app then your bank probably already offers Zelle as a way to pay money to people and businesses.  Look for the section on the site that says something like "Transfers, Send Money, or Pay Someone."

When you get to the Zelle screen the first thing you have to do is set up the recipient. You only have to do this once. You'll be asked for a phone number or email.

For Chicago IANDS, enter this email address:

donatechicagoiands@gmail.com

If you're asked if it's a person or a business, check business.

Now you're all set. Specify a donation amount and it will confirm that the money is going to CHICAGO IANDS. It transfers from bank to bank pretty quickly.

If you can't find anything about Zelle on your bank site, go to zellepay.com and follow the instructions.

Many blessings and thank you so much for your financial support!

III.  EMPLOYER GIFT MATCHING

Many employers match charitable gifts made by current employees or their spouses, and retirees.  As a nonprofit 501(c)3 charity, Chicago IANDS qualifies for many of these programs. These matching gift programs increase the impact of your gift to Chicago IANDS. Please contact your employer’s Human Resources Office to see if your gift qualifies for matching.

IV.  WILLS, BEQUESTS AND TRUSTS

A charitable gift from your estate is a favored method of giving, which enables you to achieve your financial goals and benefit Chicago IANDS. No other planned gift is as simple to make or as easy to change should you ever need the assets during your lifetime.
