Ned Dougherty is a featured speaker, former director and media
spokesperson for the International Association for Near-Death Studies.
He received his B.S. in economics and finance from St. Johns University
in 1968 and later attended the Central Florida Film School. In addition
to operating an active real estate business in the Hamptons, Dougherty
owned and operated the exclusive Club Marakesh at both the Palm Beaches
and Westhampton Beach.

Following his near-death experience, Dougherty\'s life changed
dramatically and he started the Mission of Angels Foundation, through
which he is a featured speaker on life-after-death issues, near-death
experiences, Marian apparitions, and more. The author is currently
traveling extensively and settles down from time to time near Hazleton,
Pennsylvania, and Southampton, New York.
